The Floyd and Brenda Clack (FBC) Initiative is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering students through HBCU advocacy, college readiness, and career development. Founded in Flint, Michigan, in honor of lifelong educators and public servants Floyd and Brenda Clack, the initiative continues their legacy of service by creating pathways to higher education, leadership, and opportunity for the next generation.

The FBC Initiative honors the legacy of Floyd and Brenda Clack by empowering students through HBCU advocacy, college readiness programs, and career development. We are committed to fostering educational equity, civic engagement, and community service, ensuring that every young person has the tools and support to succeed academically, professionally, and personally.

Our Vision
We envision a future where students from underserved communities have equitable access to higher education and career opportunities, inspired by the values of service, leadership, and community embodied by Floyd and Brenda Clack. Our goal is to build vibrant, empowered communities strengthened by the next generation of educated, civic-minded leaders.
